For more than a century the Stewart Family and the staff of Stewart Funeral Home have worked diligently to serve families in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond with exemplary services. On a daily basis, families turn to us to professionally guide them through the difficult days of honoring the life of a deceased loved one. We do not take being given the privilege of this service lightly.
As funeral professionals, we meet with families and ensure that they receive the service they desire. We work hard explaining options while listening to what a family chooses. Once choices are selected, a contract is drawn with the choices made. Line by line explanation of the contract is given and all questions and concerns are addressed to ensure a family is comfortable and clearly understands what they are signing. All decisions are determined by families we serve.
For four generations the Stewart family has owned and personally operated Stewart Funeral Home. We take great pride in knowing we have a highly dedicated and competent staff to serve our families. Our commitment to our families is and always will be unwavering. This is a tradition that began with my Great Grandfather, John T. Stewart, Sr. in 1900.
